Communication continues to play an important role in workplace productivity especially in today’s increasingly hybrid workplace. Despite the emergence of other digital channels, voice remains a key communications channel, and having access to technologies that promote comfort and better experiences is key.
A new open-ear headset from Shokz is taking these benefits to the next level. The patented bone conduction technology and open-ear headphones offer a USB-A wireless adapter for compatibility with more work devices and comfort so they can be worn for extended time throughout the work day.
The new OpenComm UC headset is available now for direct consumer purchase and is engineered with Shokz’s 7th generation patented bone conduction technology. This helps the device to provide PremiumPitch 2.0 audio through the cheekbone so a user’s ears are free to hear environmental surroundings.
This innovative design removes the need to ask someone to repeat themselves, miss important details someone may speak out, or constantly remove and replace the headset back over the ears. It also fosters better experiences among coworkers.
OpenComm UC headset includes an adjustable DSP noise-canceling boom microphone for clear sound across workplace communications platforms and removes background noise in loud workplace environments for clear voice transmission. The lightweight headset is made of a titanium frame and has a wireless range of up to 33 feet.
“We revolutionized workplace productivity when we debuted OpenComm and brought our open-ear bone conduction technology to the workplace,” said Kim Fassetta, CMO of Shokz. “Now we are bringing that flexibility and comfort to even more professionals with OpenComm UC. This new headset provides exceptional sound and audio quality with all-day comfort in a more adaptable design that easily works with every type of device people use at or away from their desk.”
