Small Businesses Favor a BlueJeans Fit

By

Small businesses need a flexible video platform that adapts to their day-to-day hybrid workplace. A flexible video platform is a valuable asset for small businesses that want to stay competitive and also communicate effectively with customers, clients and employees.

Now that many SMBs have determined that it’s time to look at flexible video platforms, they need one with the right fit.

Enter BlueJeans Basic, a new free video conferencing plan.

BlueJeans Basic stands out from other platforms like Zoom and Webex by allowing meeting attendees to have unlimited meeting time with no time limits, credit card requirements or strings attached.

With these capabilities, it’s no wonder 95% of SMBs prefer the ease-of-use of BlueJeans when compared to other video conferencing providers, according to a TechValidate survey.

The platform, which is provided by Verizon, also offers Dolby Voice audio, HD video, spatial audio, noise reduction, and dynamic leveling, enabling more inclusive and equitable meetings for businesses. BlueJeans Basic prioritizes security, with built-in AES 256-bit encryption, waiting room features, screen sharing controls, and the ability to hard mute individual participants or mute them upon entry.

In addition to these essential features, BlueJeans Basic offers seamless one-touch join via browser experience, as well as calendar integrations, breakout sessions, file sharing, polling, and annotation features to help facilitate collaborative meetings for users on both desktop and mobile app versions.

“At BlueJeans, we’re always looking at ways we can be better partners to and for our customers,” said Chris Lewter, Vice President and General Manager, BlueJeans by Verizon. “To better fit the needs of individuals and small businesses that may not require enterprise-level services, we’re excited to expand on our BlueJeans Meetings platform with a solution that emphasizes the most important basics to help them grow their business.”

BlueJeans Basic also comes with integrated computer vision techniques, a field of AI to provide virtual background experiences, on-the-fly lighting adjustments, and auto-camera framing to ensure each attendee can bring their best self to the meeting.

To improve video experiences of the future, BlueJeans (which can be downloaded for free at bluejeans.com/free-video-conferencing/launch) is expected to roll out the next-generation AV1 Codec to deliver 1080p video and beyond.
