IR's RemoteInsight Boosts Visibility into Hybrid Workforce Performance

By

A recent report by Gartner states that 39% of global knowledge workers would have worked hybrid by the end of 2023, up from 37% in 2022. Remote and hybrid work do offer flexibility and benefits, but they create a blind spot for IT teams.

Traditional monitoring tools struggle to track remote user performance efficiently. Therefore, companies invest in sophisticated remote work infrastructure and collaboration tools. However, a gap remains with visibility into how effectively users are utilizing them. This lack of insight hinders troubleshooting and resolving performance issues, which leads to frustrated users, lost productivity and potential security risks.

Enter IR, a provider of UC&C performance management and analytics.

IR recently launched RemoteInsight, a solution designed to give organizations better visibility into the performance of their remote workforce. With hybrid work models becoming the new normal, RemoteInsight addresses a critical challenge for businesses: ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance for remote employees, regardless of their location.

The solution leverages advanced network diagnostics to provide insights into 22 critical performance metrics, including:

  • Remote user device health: Monitors the performance of laptops, desktops, and other devices used by remote employees.
  • ISP performance: Tracks ISP performance and identifies potential bottlenecks.
  • Home network health: Analyzes the health of home Wi-Fi networks and identifies issues like signal strength and interference.
  • Firewall and security performance: Ensures firewalls and security software are functioning optimally and not impacting UC&C performance.
  • Application performance: Monitors the performance of specific UC&C applications like video conferencing and collaboration tools.

This deep level of insight allows IT teams to proactively identify and resolve performance issues before they impact productivity or customer experience. RemoteInsight also facilitates faster troubleshooting, allowing IT teams to pinpoint the root cause of problems quickly and efficiently.

RemoteInsight integrates seamlessly with IR's existing Collaborate suite of solutions, providing a unified platform for managing UC&C performance across the entire organization. This holistic approach empowers businesses to gain a complete picture of their UC&C health, identify trends and patterns, and optimize their network infrastructure for peak performance.

"RemoteInsight is our commitment to provide businesses with the tools to thrive in this digital age,” said John Ruthven, CEO and Managing Director, IR. “The product is designed to enable organizations to maintain peak performance of their networks without violating the user's privacy or security. We want to ensure optimal user experience and productivity no matter where the user is, each time and every time.”

RemoteInsight is available as part of the Collaborate suite of solutions.
