Professionals Get a Productivity Boost with New Intapp AI Capabilities

By

Professionals in fields like accounting, consulting, finance and law demand more advanced technology from their firms. This isn't just about convenience — they believe these tools can impact their work and careers.

They expect technology to boost their performance. They see technology as a career accelerator. Advanced tools like data visualization and analytics can equip them with deeper insights.

And there's a growing interest in AI, as is the case with most industries. Many professionals believe AI can reduce their workload by automating complex tasks previously requiring human expertise. This frees up valuable time for client interaction, research and pursuing new areas of practice within their field.

So, to meet the demand of those professionals, Intapp, a provider of AI-powered software for professionals in specialized industries, announced new features and a refreshed brand focused on its "Intelligence Applied" strategy. This strategy emphasizes applying AI to the workflows of professionals in accounting, consulting, investment banking and other fields.

First up is Intapp Assist for DealCloud.

Intapp Assist for DealCloud leverages generative AI to automate tasks and free professionals for strategic work. It analyzes data, provides insights, and captures knowledge within the DealCloud platform.

Key features include:

  • Relationship signals: AI-driven alerts and insights help manage professional networks and personalize outreach.
  • Detailed summarization: Automatically generates summaries of unstructured data like meeting transcripts.
  • Narrative generation: Assists users in creating descriptions and commentary within DealCloud.
  • Contextual email outreach: Creates tailored email content based on firm history, relationships, and relevant news.

Next is Intapp Data, a firmographic data set of over 85 million companies and 200 million contacts that is now available to all DealCloud clients. It aids in learning about market participants, expanding networks and generating new business opportunities. Intapp Data also enhances connectivity with third-party data from its partner ecosystem, allowing firms to enrich their internal intelligence.

Furthermore, Intapp announced its acquisition of AI software company delphai, a move aimed at strengthening its data foundation for next-generation AI. Delphai's technology structures public data into usable formats to allow firms to identify target companies more effectively.

Intapp Walls for Copilot addresses compliance concerns associated with AI-powered tools like Microsoft Copilot. It provides control over the data Copilot accesses to ensure compliance with data privacy, security and confidentiality regulations in highly regulated industries.

“Intapp Walls for Copilot is an exciting development that helps capital markets, legal, and advisory firms both leverage the generative AI power of Microsoft Copilot and further preserve the deep trust with their clients,” said Donald Kossman, Vice President, Copilot at Microsoft.

The Activator experience, a joint solution with DCMi, utilizes AI to improve business development efforts. It leverages Intapp's DealCloud platform and DCMi's Activator Development System to provide tailored information, alerts and content generation. This fosters the adoption of successful business development behaviors among professionals.

Finally, Intapp unveiled a new brand identity, including a logo, website and positioning that reflects its focus on AI and commitment to innovation for the professional sector.

“This brand evolution emphasizes our dedication to provide leadership to our clients and our market in this AI era,” said Scott Fitzgerald, Chief Marketing Officer at Intapp. “It signals our commitment to the intelligent application of AI to unlock the expertise within professional firms to capture opportunity.”

The company's mission is now explicitly stated as equipping professionals with cutting-edge, compliant AI tools.

“Intapp is applying the promise of generative AI to create solutions that professionals use every day,” said John Hall, CEO of Intapp. “Intelligence Applied reflects our team’s mission to study and understand the highly specialized nature of our clients’ professional workflows and obligations and to develop applied AI solutions that unlock the potential of the generative AI era for professionals and their firms.”
