Poly and Zoom Deliver Meeting Equity

By

Clear audio and video are essential for quality meetings and collaboration in today’s hybrid work environment. Distracting noises disengage meeting attendees by prompting them to lower or even mute their volume. Blurry video makes it difficult to see who the speaker is, especially when the speaker is presenting within a larger conference room with in-office attendees.

Poly, which was acquired by HP earlier this year for $3.3 billion earlier this year, provides audio and video solutions that bypass those hybrid meeting challenges, reassuring speakers that they are seen and heard clearly. Poly NoiseBlockAI and Acoustic Fence ensure distracting noises are suppressed, and Poly DirectorAI technology automatically tracks everyone in the room to make sure whoever is speaking is seen clearly.

To continue to redefine how hybrid work meetings are done, Poly teamed up with Zoom to create Poly Studio Systems for Zoom Rooms, powered by HP. Zoom Rooms lets meeting hosts use any hardware they like, such as Poly’s Zoom-certified devices and solutions, to transform shared spaces, such as conference rooms, into collaborative meeting spaces.

Poly Studio Systems for small Zoom Rooms feature the Poly Studio R30. Medium rooms feature the Poly Studio USB video bar. These two each feature a 4K camera with a 120-degree field of view stereo speakers and beam-forming mic array and NoiseBlockAI and Acoustic Fence. Large rooms feature the Poly Studio E70 with dual lenses with 4k sensors and up to 7.3-times digital zoom

Poly’s Studio video bars are equipped with Poly DirectorAI technology to deliver meeting equity. Additionally, each Poly Studio System is powered by the HP Mini Conferencing PC and a Poly TC10 controller and scheduler. The controller provides Zoom Rooms users with the flexibility to use the device as a native Zoom Rooms controller or Zoom Rooms scheduling display.

As a meeting controller, the Poly TC10 is pairable with the Poly Studio X Series or G7500 video conferencing system to control the cloud-based video app on the Poly Video OS system. As a Zoom Rooms scheduling display, the controller allows workers to schedule a Zoom Room with a click of a button

“The future of meeting collaboration will require innovative solutions,” said Andy Rhodes, senior vice president and general manager of hybrid work solutions and peripherals at HP. “Poly and HP are joining forces with Zoom to create a complete ecosystem of Poly Studio Zoom Room Systems designed to deliver meeting equity so you show-up and stand out.”

Poly Studio Systems for Zoom Rooms with the Poly TC10 controller/scheduler is available to order in North America and Europe with shipping set for late November. Worldwide availability is set for early 2023. The Poly TC10 touch panel controller/scheduling display is also available to purchase as a standalone accessory.
