TrueConf Powers Video Meeting Solutions with AI

Video communication technologies are deeply embedded into daily workflows at businesses of all sizes. Video use was growing for some time, but never quite took off as it did in 2020. The thing is, there are deficiencies to many video solutions – they cannot adjust to background noises at home, poorly lit rooms, etc., on their own. AI is needed to improve the user experience and drive communication quality.

To help in that regard, and to make all meeting participants feel an increased sense of inclusion, video conferencing developer TrueConf revealed video communication developments powered by AI through its TrueConf 8 and TrueConf Room.

TrueConf 8 is a self-hosted video conferencing and team messaging app that features smart noise suspension and virtual backgrounds. The all-in-one AI-powered team messenger provides telecommuters with a configurable chat-centric workspace for secure asynchronous collaboration across multiple devices.

TrueConf 8 initially featured background blurring to maintain personal privacy with regards to user surroundings, but the functionality is enhanced by the ability to set virtual backgrounds. Anyone who has participated in a Zoom meeting knows how popular virtual backgrounds have become.

TrueConf Room is a 4K PC-based software for meeting rooms that incorporates user auto framing and transforms any space into a professional meeting room, bringing meeting participants into an immersive telepresence atmosphere.

With TrueConf Room, users manage their conferences remotely and keep things running smoothly by setting individual video layouts or global view for all meeting attendees, controlling participants’ AV devices on the fly and adding or removing users from the ongoing session.

Additionally, TrueConf is ready to accept requests from worldwide clients for training its TrueConf 8 neural network to meet custom field tasks, such as accurate background replacement if employees wear masks or hard hats. Another is smart noise suspension that cuts off high and low sound distortions to deliver clear voice sound even in the busiest locations

TrueConf, which equips desktops, mobiles and meeting rooms with video collaboration capabilities, enhanced distance teamwork with TrueConf 8 and TrueConf Room and made it so video-based communications are facilitated from any location and device.
