Founded in April of 2009, video and visual communications software company Prezi introduced its engaging features for businesses in office spaces, and for hard-working students and educators in classrooms. This tool can be used for the sending-out of interactive charts and infographics, as well.
Before today, that’s most of what I knew about Prezi. (I especially remember using it when I was in high school, a time that seems like eons past.) Today, however, I was made aware of Prezi Video for Zoom as part of Zoom’s curated Essential Apps. This Prezi-Zoom team-up provides Zoom One Pro, Business, and Business Plus customers with Prezi Video capabilities within Zoom itself. This allows for the interaction with on-screen content for creating meaningful video meeting and presentation experiences (which studies have shown can be up to 75% more engaging, overall).
“To date, Prezi Video has helped more than 200,000 organizations have better, more productive video meetings by introducing the ability to share on-screen content within your screen to drive two-way engagement," said Jim Szafranski, Prezi’s CEO. “Joining Zoom’s curated Essential Apps is an exciting next step that deepens our integration with Zoom and gives us the opportunity to improve the digital employee experience for millions more hybrid workers."
Through Zoom’s curated Essential Apps, Prezi Video is now accessible within the new apps sidebar. Users can utilize Prezi Video for Zoom to react directly on-screen during live meetings, granting participants opportunities to collaborate seamlessly (and without the need to interrupt any speakers). With more branding and custom name tag control to boot, Ross Mayfield, Group Product Manager for Zoom Apps, said “We are pleased to include Prezi Video for Zoom to give customers access to more integrated apps so they can better engage during interactive activities.”
