TalentGuard Reveals WorkforceGPT for Talent Management Ecosystems

By

For the last four to six months, generative pre-trained transformer (GPT) technology has flooded our systems. (A double entendre; our devices and technological systems, plus our brains and societal systems.) GPTs are large language models (LLMs) with a plethora of capabilities; text completion, text, voice or sentiment analysis, question-answering, text summarization, language translation, transcription, active dialogue, and too many more to reasonably list. Pre-trained on large datasets, GPTs can also be fine-tuned on specific task parameters or for specific domains; this makes them even more practical as chatbots and virtual assistants, data analysts or documentation organizers, and so on.

The long-story-short of it? GPTs (with the necessary tweaks and compliances) are here to stay, and it feels like mostly everyone wants in.

Enter TalentGuard, provider of workforce skills intelligence and management solutions. TalentGuard has announced the launch of its WorkforceGPT.

Per comments from a TalentGuard rep, “WorkforceGPT is a first-of-its-kind innovation designed to transform how organizations approach their reskilling, upskilling, career-pathing, performance management, and succession-planning.” By leveraging a version of OpenAI’s latest modeling (and trained on a decade’s worth of key customer data and real-time labor market data), this generative AI application looks to allow organizations to reinvent role-building and skills management in order to grow.

WorkforceGPT’s platform utilizes the GPT-3* model (*not yet GPT-4) to analyze and generate comprehensive role and skill taxonomies, continuously update organizations with the most relevant and to-the-minute information to support talent strategies, and set the scene for realizing optimized workforces. TalentGuard believes WorkforceGPT to be cutting-edge AI that can significantly reduce job architecture setup time while, quote, “harmonizing data across talent management ecosystems to produce success.”

Moreover, WorkforceGPT is designed to work seamlessly (and conveniently) with TalentGuard’s existing platform and is highly customizable to fit varying business needs.

"WorkforceGPT is a game-changer in the world of talent management," said Frank Ginac, CTO of TalentGuard. "In today’s age, organizations across every industry need to develop skills quicker than ever before to keep up with the pace of change. So, by combining LLMs like GPT, real-time labor and customer data, and our own Talent Frameworks, we can deliver market-relevant roles and skills without sacrificing essential parameters of workforce intelligence.”

“We expect proficiency levels to rise,” Ginac continued, “as organizations better equip their teams to adapt with the ever-changing world of our work. And already, our early-access customers have reported that WorkforceGPT has eliminated 90-100% of the effort required to keep their taxonomies up-to-date. We’re excited to see what else our AI-focused R&D team at TalentGuard labs are able to produce.”
