Poly's Next-Generation Hybrid Work Devices Powered by NuCurrent

By

Even before the COVID-19 pandemic, many companies viewed remote work as an optional solution that they kept on the down-low to avoid having too many employees out of the office. But then, in light of the pandemic, remote and hybrid work became a viable and permanent option for a lot of companies as higher-ups saw the benefits of working from home. For example, hybrid work improves work-life balance, reduces commuting time and costs, increases productivity and enhances employee well-being.

Great for the health of employees in general, sure, but perhaps less great for IT teams. From the comfort of home to the traditional office, hybrid workers need dependable technology to effortlessly transition between environments, according to a Poly study. This is important if hybrid workforces want devices to stay powered and properly onnected during conference meetings while working from various locations throughout the day.

"The new era of hybrid work is about people working from their home, the office and everywhere in between which means the future of work must be powered by reliable, flexible, pro-grade solutions,” said Chris Moss, Head of Product and Portfolio Management, Hybrid Work Solutions at HP | Poly.

To overcome that obstacle, Poly, an HP company, entered a partnership with NuCurrent to power the next generation of devices delivering virtual meeting equity for remote, hybrid and on-site office workers.

NuCurrent is dubbed the authority in wireless power. Their innovative solutions leverage inductive and inductive resonant wireless power transfer technologies, providing users with increased convenience, safety, efficiency and an enhanced overall experience.

NuCurrent's wireless charging solutions are a boon for addressing the needs of today's hybrid workers, as they expedite device charging and facilitate a seamless and connected work experience, irrespective of the work location.

This capability is what’s powering the Poly Voyager Free 60 Series.

The Voyager Free 60 Series is a hybrid work solution that includes active noise cancellation and a three-mic array for clear communication during calls. It also has a touchscreen charge case, which allows for easy control and connectivity to various devices and platforms, including Microsoft Teams and Zoom.

Furthermore, thanks to NuCurrent, the Voyager Free 60 Series boasts a swift Qi-certified wireless charging case. NuCurrent claims this device charges in less than half the duration of its closest competitor for wireless earbuds.

"Wireless power technology is not merely a product feature," said Jacob Babcock, NuCurrent CEO. "This technology can deliver significant improvements that create more meaningful product experiences.”

With the ability to facilitate virtual meetings, answer phone calls, and play your preferred music, the Voyager Free 60 Series assures a dependable and high-quality audio experience. The earbuds are quality-certified and are managed centrally by IT departments from anywhere in the world.
