ChatGPT Continues to Assist Enterprises with New Tool: Learn More at Generative AI Expo

By

It hasn’t been a year since OpenAI’s ChatGPT launch, and OpenAI has seen teams adopt it in over 80% of Fortune 500 companies.

ChatGPT's popularity is attributed to a convergence of factors. At its core is the advancement in AI technology showcased by the GPT-3.5 architecture and GPT-4 for ChatGPT Plus members. Unlike its predecessors, ChatGPT excels at understanding and generating human-like language, creating an engaging and natural conversational experience.

Its user-friendly interface and diverse applications have also fueled its popularity. Accessible platforms and applications allow individuals with varying technical backgrounds to effortlessly interact with ChatGPT, broadening its user base. Cannot forget to factor in its versatility in tasks ranging from drafting emails to generating creative writing as well as the viral sharing of interactions and outcomes on social media and online communities has magnified its reach, prompting more people to explore its capabilities.

What ChatGPT didn’t have before was a simple way of deploying the tool throughout organizations. OpenAI listened to business leaders and launched ChatGPT Enterprise, which offers enterprise-grade security and privacy, unlimited higher-speed GPT-4 access, longer context windows for processing longer inputs, advanced data analysis capabilities, customization options and more.

In ChatGPT Enterprise, the user retains ownership and control over their business data. OpenAI's training does not involve business data or interactions, ensuring that the models remain unaffected by their usage.

ChatGPT Enterprise also adheres to SOC 2 compliance and employs encryption for conversations during transmission and while stored. With the introduction of an advanced admin console, managing team members becomes effortless. This console provides features like domain verification, single sign-on and usage insights, facilitating the expansive implementation of ChatGPT Enterprise within an enterprise setting.

As previously mentioned, ChatGPT Enterprise offers unlimited and swift GPT-4 processing. All limitations on usage are eliminated, and the model operates at speeds up to twice as fast as before. This offering encompasses 32k context, enabling users to handle inputs or files that are four times longer than previously feasible.

An integral component of ChatGPT Enterprise is the unbounded access to advanced data analysis, previously referred to as the Code Interpreter feature. This functionality allows technical and non-technical teams to analyze information at a faster rate. Whether it's financial experts evaluating market data, marketers deciphering survey responses or data scientists debugging an ETL script, this feature provides rapid insights in a matter of seconds.

“ChatGPT Enterprise has cut down research time by an average of an hour per day, increasing productivity for people on our team,” said Jorge Zuniga, Head of Data Systems and Integrations at Asana. “It’s been a powerful tool that has accelerated testing hypotheses and improving our internal systems.”

And for organizations seeking to tailor ChatGPT to their specific workflows, the inclusion of shared chat templates fosters collaboration and the creation of standardized processes. If the need arises to fully customize OpenAI solutions for an organization, the pricing structure encompasses complimentary credits for utilizing the OpenAI API in crafting tailored solutions.

“From engineers troubleshooting bugs, to data analysts clustering free-form data, to finance analysts writing tricky spreadsheet formulas — the use cases for ChatGPT Enterprise are plenty,” said Danny Wu, Head of AI Products at Canva. “It’s become a true enabler of productivity.”

OpenAI is actively developing additional features that will be released when they reach completion. These forthcoming enhancements include secure expansion of ChatGPT's knowledge through integration with existing applications using company data, the introduction of a self-serve ChatGPT Business package tailored for smaller teams and enhanced versions of Advanced Data Analysis and optimized browsing tools.
