Accenture's Generative AI Studios Network Sparks Client Excellence in Data and AI Technologies

By

Earlier this year, Accenture announced a $3 billion investment in its Data & AI practice to help clients across all industries advance and use AI to achieve greater growth, efficiency and resilience.

The initiative involves investments in assets, industry solutions, ventures, acquisitions, talent and ecosystem partnerships. The Data & AI practice aims to double its AI talent to 80,000 professionals, while a new AI Navigator for Enterprise, a generative AI-based platform, will aid clients in defining business cases, making decisions and navigating AI journeys responsibly. Accenture also plans to create accelerators for data and AI readiness across 19 industries and invest in its Center for Advanced AI for research and development to maximize generative AI's value.

Additionally, the company will strengthen relationships within its cloud, data and AI ecosystems to transform client work, emphasizing the use of pre-built models and dynamic virtual environments.

As part of that investment, Accenture is expected to launch a network of generative AI studios in North America where companies can explore ways to optimize and reinvent their business through the responsible use of generative AI applications.

“Clients will come to the studios to access the latest innovations, experiment with new technologies, tools and approaches to advance their skills, and develop roadmaps to adopt generative AI at scale,” said Manish Sharma, North America CEO of Accenture.

Clients interested in pursuing commercial uses of generative AI have an opportunity to visit the studios at Accenture Innovation Hubs in Chicago, Houston, New York, San Francisco, Toronto and Washington, D.C. The studios have areas of specialization where clients explore industry use cases, co-innovate, conduct AI pilots and initiate and scale programs.

Chicago will specialize in financial services, health, life sciences, consumer goods and services, Industry X and manufacturing. Houston will specialize in Industry X, chemicals, energy and utilities industries. New York will specialize in life sciences and financial services.

San Francisco will specialize in software and platforms and communications, media and technology. Toronto will specialize in financial services, retail, health, and public service. Washington, D.C., will specialize in health, public service, including federal government services.

The studios facilitate client connections with Accenture's top data and AI experts, leveraging the company's ecosystem partnerships, ventures and strategic investments in the Center for Advanced AI. Clients gain insights from over 1,450 patents and patent applications in AI solutions, along with knowledge from over 300 active generative AI projects.

“The studios are designed to help our clients move from interest to action to value, in a responsible way with clear business cases,” said Sharma.

Be part of the discussion about the latest trends and developments in the Generative AI space at Generative AI Expo, taking place February 13-15, 2024 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Generative AI Expo discusses the evolution of GenAI and feature conversations focused on the potential for GenAI across industries and how the technology is already being used to create new opportunities for businesses to improve operations, enhance customer experiences, and create new growth opportunities.
