The Future Speaks: Voicify and Chowly Elevate Restaurant Experiences with Voice AI Ordering

By

Imagine a futuristic restaurant where advanced technology enhances every aspect of the dining experience: Customers make reservations and receive information through an AI-powered virtual host. Upon seating, they interact with voice-enabled devices for effortless menu exploration and ordering. The system personalizes recommendations based on preferences to guarantee a tailored experience. Throughout the meal, the AI engages in conversation, sharing culinary insights. The streamlined process extends to billing and payment, with secure transactions completed via voice commands. Post-meal, an interactive survey collects feedback, contributing to ongoing improvements.

The technology is called Voice AI. Sure, we might be a ways away from its capabilities matching the hypothetical scenario above, but companies like Voicify are taking steps toward that. Voicify's suite of tools transforms guest experiences across multiple points of service with seamless deployment and can scale to any size restaurant operation.

Voicify's advanced AI solutions efficiently expand a restaurant's digital ordering capabilities by quickly and accurately processing guest orders through a learned understanding of the menu. Voicify's AI is designed to comprehend natural human speech, allowing customers to communicate without any modifications. Additionally, the AI Answering assistant can connect guests with human staff when required or requested, enhancing the overall customer experience.

Voicify is setting the standard for conversational AI by learning quickly and delivering intelligent and reliable performance for any situation.

Raising the bar of its own standard, Voicify integrated with Chowly, an all-in-one digital ordering platform, to make its technology available to any of Chowly's customers.

Chowly enables restaurants to provide customized first-party ordering on their websites and optimize third-party delivery channels through seamless integration with their POS systems. Through features like Chowly Online Ordering, third-party marketplace POS integration, Smart Pricing, delivery services and robust reporting, Chowly supports restaurants of all sizes in competing effectively and achieving optimal results.

The partnership between Voicify and Chowly will empower thousands of restaurant locations to offload the more mundane, transactional steps involved in guest service such as taking orders and payment. This enables restaurants to solve staffing challenges and provide consistent customer service across guest touchpoints, despite reduced staffing levels.

"Voicify AI adeptly handles guest orders and questions,” said Nick Laidlaw, Chief Technology Officer, Voicify. “It won't call in sick and never fails to suggest add-ons and special offers or promote the restaurant loyalty program.”

By joining Chowly's strategic partner program, Chowly's restaurant customers will field call-in customer questions and process voice orders placed at the drive-thru, in-store kiosk or over the phone with high speed and accuracy using Voicify AI.

All customer voice orders are transmitted to Chowly's platform.

"At Chowly, we recognize the value that innovative technologies can bring to our network of restaurant partners," said Alex Cranfill, Director of Partnerships at Chowly. "Voicify AI fulfills the need for an AI service pillar that augments our digital guest ecosystem, fully equipping the restaurants we serve with a future-ready platform and the competitive advantage they've been looking for.”
