HPE and NVIDIA GenAI Solution Enables Enterprises to Accelerate AI Model Training, Tuning and Inferencing

By

We’ve continuously read about the capabilities of generative AI, or GenAI, and how enterprises plan on (and continue to) utilize it. In fact, there is a chance to learn even more about the latest trends and developments in the generative AI space at Generative AI Expo, taking place February 13-15, 2024, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. There, discuss the evolution of GenAI and feature conversations focused on the potential for GenAI across industries and how the technology is already being used to create new opportunities for businesses to improve operations, enhance customer experiences, and create new growth opportunities.

On this topic, deploying GenAI models requires complex infrastructure, specialized skills and significant financial investment. This has often left smaller businesses or those new to AI feeling overwhelmed and excluded from the potential benefits.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise, or HPE, and NVIDIA plan to bridge that gap through a collaboration to democratize GenAI for businesses of all sizes. The partnership delivers a pre-configured, enterprise-class full-stack GenAI solution designed to simplify and accelerate the adoption of this technology.

"The generative AI era is ramping up at full speed, with enterprises racing to reimagine their businesses,” said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO, NVIDIA. “Our expanded collaboration with HPE will help enterprises drive unprecedented productivity through AI applications that connect with business data to power accurate assistants, informed chatbots and semantic search.”

The solution integrates HPE ProLiant servers, NVIDIA L40S GPUs, BlueField-3 DPUs, Spectrum-X networking, and AI software from both companies into a pre-configured package. This removes the burden of manual integration and optimizes the system for GenAI workloads.

HPE Machine Learning Development Environment Software now includes new GenAI studio features to streamline model prototyping and testing. HPE Ezmeral Software features enhanced GPU support for efficient data preparation across hybrid cloud environments. NVIDIA AI Enterprise provides a framework, tools, and pre-trained models to guide enterprises through the GenAI development process.

Additionally, HPE Services now offers a range of consulting, training and deployment solutions to support customers throughout their GenAI journey. This includes assistance with model selection, implementation, data strategy and scaling for transformative outcomes.

“HPE and NVIDIA are in a unique position to deliver a comprehensive AI-native solution that will dramatically ease the journey to develop and deploy AI models with a portfolio of pre-configured solutions,” said Antonio Neri, HPE President and CEO. “The strategic collaboration between HPE and NVIDIA will dramatically reduce barriers for customers looking to transform their businesses with AI.”

The enterprise computing solution for GenAI will be available for order in the first quarter of 2024. With the HPE and NVIDIA solution, generative AI is no longer the exclusive domain of tech giants and research labs. It is now within reach for businesses of all sizes.
