Infobip Adds Conversational AI with Google Vertex AI

By

Consumers today seek a more meaningful connection with the brands they frequent. Solutions that businesses can look to if they want to meet this trend are rich conversational messaging channels, such as RCS Business Messaging.

However, to capitalize on this shift, businesses and brands must go beyond simply offering another communication platform. They need to elevate the customer experience by incorporating advanced communication services like conversational AI and chatbots.

Conversational AI and chatbots allow brands to deliver personalized, relevant and interactive messaging experiences. Unlike traditional SMS, which is limited to text, RCS Business Messaging supports features like images, videos and buttons. This richer format creates opportunities for businesses to showcase products, share updates and even facilitate transactions directly within the messaging thread.

With the likes of conversational AI, brands can further personalize these interactions. Chatbots powered by AI can answer customer questions, troubleshoot issues and guide users through the buying process.

Now, these advanced features and solutions are more readily available to businesses thanks to an integration between Infobip and Google Vertex AI.

Infobip is a global cloud communications platform that allows businesses to build connected experiences across all stages of the customer journey. Google Vertex AI is a machine learning platform developed by Google Cloud that helps software providers to easily build, train and manage ML models and AI applications by providing all the tools and services required in a single platform.

With RCS Google Vertex AI, businesses create conversational experiences and chatbots for their customers that enhance engagement and drive conversions. And by using the AI capabilities within RCS, Infobip better equips businesses to automate processes, provide personalized, instant support and deliver tailored interactions. Results include improvements in ROI, customer satisfaction and loyalty.

“As experts in omnichannel messaging and with an unmatched portfolio of telecom partners across the globe, we can ensure that RCS messages, and messages across any other channel, are safely and securely delivered to customers everywhere,” said Ivan Ostojic, Chief Business Officer at Infobip. “The combination of our RCS expertise and partner network, the power of Google’s Vertex AI and client industry knowledge and customer insights guarantee conversational RCS interactions that will help set brands apart from their competition.”
