Happy Halloween, Future of Workers! As my colleague Greg Tavarez wrote in one of his own articles today, “Whether you're carving pumpkins, dressing up in your favorite costume or indulging in a bowl of candy, may your Halloween be filled with frightful fun.”
I think I personally identify most with the forthcoming big-bowl-o’-candy indulgence. (But on a more sentimental note, it’s also quite nice to be in our first house and to actually have spooky trick-or-treaters come around.)
That said, before the sun sets on today’s All Hallow’s Eve, let’s focus on some news; particularly, about AudioCodes and Zoom.
AudioCodes, for any unfamiliar, is a provider of advanced software and productivity solutions for today’s constantly evolving digital workforce. Per the company’s mission, “enabling enterprises and service providers to build and operate state-of-the-art, all-IP voice networks” is what AudioCodes does. That way — whether we’re talking on-prem or in the cloud — unified communications and hosted business services capabilities get great boosts, enhancing the quality of communication experiences for businesses in 100+ countries.
And earlier this week, AudioCodes announced an expansion of its Meeting Insights solution, as it now features support for Zoom.
This expansion of Meeting Insights tackles issues related to a.) having to rely on a multitude of separate UCaaS platforms to facilitate productive collaboration, and b.) the prevalence of data silos that can hinder teams’ abilities to gain a holistic view of meeting content and other workplace trends.
“By extending Meeting Insights to Zoom,” explained Shabtai Adlersberg, CEO of AudioCodes, “we're empowering organizations with a truly unified and uniform meeting intelligence solution.”
Here’s a shortlist of Meeting Insights features and benefits:
- Unified Meeting Repository: Centralize all meeting data from both Microsoft Teams and Zoom in one secure, easily searchable location.
- Cross-Platform Consistency: The same advanced AI-powered features many users are used to remain the same; transcription, summarization and action item tracking works across both platforms.
- Flexible Integration: Add Meeting Insights to Zoom meetings with ease through forwarded invitations (or ad-hoc from the Meeting Insights portal).
- Enhanced AI Ecosystem Integration: Speaking of AI again, Meeting Insights distributes both Zoom and Microsoft Teams meeting recaps via email, making them searchable and accessible by AI tools like Microsoft Copilot. This integration, quote, “amplifies the value of meeting data, allowing organizations to leverage insights across their existing AI and business intelligence platforms.”
- Enhanced Data Mining: Compile comprehensive insights into meeting patterns and productivity across your entire organization.
- Enterprise-Grade Data Security: Benefit from robust features like data encryption at rest and in transit, role-based access control, data retention policies, audit trail of user activities, compliance with regulations such as GDPR, CPRA, CCPA, certified ISO 27001, ISO 27032, SOC2 Type II.
“These strategic enhancements,” Adlersberg said, in closing, “allow enterprises to unlock the full potential of their meeting data across platforms, driving productivity and informed decision-making at all levels."
