The cat’s long been out of the bag, readers — AI is here to stay, and seemingly countless industry leads believe that it has become increasingly important for the future of work and how we shape it.
As we know, AI can analyze entire seas of data, automate repetitive tasks, create action plans for business execs, drive smarter decision-making, improve forecasting, break down language barriers, you name it; though certainly infallible, much of our world is currently AI’s oyster. It feels like virtually every business under the sun sees swathes of promising value in AI’s ability to enhance productivity measures and accelerate workflows so teams can focus on higher-priority initiatives, but here’s an important reminder:
While desirable, not all of AI’s underlying processes are well understood.
In this vein, learning how to responsibly tap into this enhanced intelligence (while ensuring it’s also ethically trained) is vital. New skill sets are big-time in demand. Entire government entities are being asked to create guardrails and guidelines. There’s a lot afoot, AI-wise; it’s not something to be glorified, idolized or vilified, but rather mindfully understood and harnessed properly (with sustainable support and informed oversight).
If you’d like to dive deeper and learn more, we definitely recommend attending Future of Work Expo 2025, taking place from February 11-13, 2025, at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. (Lest we forget Generative AI Expo 2025; we’re mainly talking about Future of Work here, but both fall under the umbrella of the larger #TECHSUPERSHOW experience.)
At Future of Work Expo 2025, one of the many sessions of interest is titled “Update on AI Innovations, Use Cases and Skills Gap for Future of Work” and it’s really looking good. The session’s expert panelists will lay out their respective (and well-informed) takes on the AI-forward movement; the impacts of the technology, how to proactively weed out hallucinations and potential misinformation, what sectors are currently benefiting most, and what those in IT should bear in mind about what’s coming in 2025.
This particular session will be held from 2:00-2:45 PM on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. Read more about Future of Work Expo 2025 here.
