Sharp Brings Digital Workplace Together with Hybrid Meetings

By

Most of today’s businesses are operating in some form of hybrid environment, with a mix of remote and on-site staff. As this new way of working takes root, the post pandemic workforce also continues to demand tools that help them to enjoy the same experience and productivity with coworkers whether they are at home or in the same physical location.

To answer this call, Sharp  Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA), a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation (SEC), has introduced a new collaboration hub that it says brings everyone together in a digital workspace that's even smarter than ever before.

The new hub makes it possible to have dynamic, collaborative spaces where employees can gather and work together and combine their creativity without having to worry about how they’ll gather.

"Now more than ever, sparking creativity and innovation in the workplace can be a challenge," says Vince Jannelli, Associate Vice President, Software Product Management, Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America.

"These days, we are collaborating with team members working from home, in the office or on the road. A mobile-centric approach to driving the meeting space technology in the office provides an easy and consistent way to run meetings, putting the focus back on the collaboration."

The Synappx collaboration hub combines Synappx Go and Synappx Meeting offerings in a mobile first experience. Participants can easily start, join or end a meeting with just one tap and can also automatically connect to in-room audio and video. The mobile app can be used to control meeting room tech and share content from the cloud with attendees using an NFC tag in the meeting room.

In addition to great improvements in user experiences, this will also increase efficiency and productivity levels for staff as they can quickly and easily meet without having to fumble through connecting or gathering meeting files.

The offering works with meeting software including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet and GoToConnect and is integrated in Sharp's newest PN-L2B AQUOS BOARD range of smart interactive displays.
