Genesys Cloud Platform Authorized for StateRAMP Cybersecurity

By

Customer experience solutions provider Genesys recently announced that it has been authorized for the State Risk and Authorized Management Program (StateRAMP) at the Moderate Impact Level. StateRAMP is a 501(c)6 nonprofit with a stated mission to promote cybersecurity best practices through education and policy development and to improve the cyber posture of public institutions and the citizens they serve. StateRAMP’s governance committees adopt policies and procedures that standardize security requirements for providers. StateRAMP’s Program Management Office then verifies those cloud offerings utilized by government entities to satisfy adopted security requirements through independent audits and continuous monitoring.

Genesys’ StateRAMP Authorization builds off its FedRAMP Authorization at the Moderate Impact Level, which Genesys announced earlier this year. Through these certifications, Genesys is making it easier for U.S. state and federal agencies to access the latest cloud and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to improve the customer experience, while protecting their mission, assets and resources.

With the experience orchestration capabilities of the Genesys Cloud platform, public sector organizations can tap into advanced conversational, generative and predictive AI capabilities, helping them to securely, reliably and more efficiently deliver mission-critical services to their communities. In addition, the all-in-one Genesys Cloud platform offers organizations a powerful set of digital, voice and workforce engagement management capabilities to orchestrate a seamless, personalized customer experience at scale across every touch point.

"Many state and local government agencies are challenged to deliver the service consumers expect today while stretching their limited resources and protecting their customers' data,” said Olivier Jouve, EVP and Chief Product Officer at Genesys, in a statement. “With StateRAMP Authorization, Genesys Cloud can expand its support to more government organizations by offering a solution that helps them modernize their infrastructure and use AI and automation to build stronger relationships with their customers through improved experiences.”

To learn more about how Genesys can enhance the customer experience, plan to attend ITEXPO 2024 February 13-15, 2024 at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward Country Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Peter Graf, Chief Strategy and Operations Officer at Genesys will present a keynote at ITEXPO 2024, the #TECHSUPERSHOW. Graf’s keynote, "Goodbye, NPS. Hello, People-Centric, End-to-End Experience Benchmarking," will take place on Wednesday, February 14.
