Suki and Zoom Partner to Enhance Telehealth with AI-Powered Clinical Documentation

By

Suki, a provider of AI solutions for healthcare, announced a new partnership with Zoom Video Communications to integrate its AI-powered clinical note-generation technology into Zoom's telehealth platform.

With this collaboration, Zoom will leverage Suki’s AI capabilities to streamline the clinical documentation processes, improving both the efficiency and quality of care for patients.

“AI is changing the way we interact with the world,” said Suki founder and CEO, Punit Soni. “Everything from how we communicate to how we use technology to how care is delivered will evolve. Video will be a critical interface in the AI-driven world. We are thrilled to work with Zoom to develop new interaction models and AI that will advance our mission of making healthcare technology invisible and assistive so clinicians can focus on what’s most important: their patients.”

The integration is built on Suki Platform, the company’s AI engine, which offers seamless, AI-driven experiences with minimal development work. Used by nearly 1 million healthcare professionals across the U.S., Suki’s tools help clinicians cut down on time spent completing documentation, with studies showing an average of 72 percent faster note-taking.

Beyond clinical notes, Suki’s AI can also assist with coding, answer clinical questions, and generate incremental revenue, delivering a substantial 9-time return on investment within the first year of use according to company officials.

Zoom's telehealth platform, powered by Suki’s AI, will offer healthcare providers a chance to document care more efficiently in both virtual and in-person settings.

Reducing the time doctors spend on documentation (by as much as 70%) frees up more time for patient interaction and reduces physician burnout.

“With over almost 140,000 healthcare institutions globally using the Zoom platform, we feel a great responsibility to leverage the power of AI to drive employee productivity and enhance patient experiences,” said Smita Hashim, chief product officer at Zoom. “Working together with Suki to provide critical AI-generated clinical note functionality to Zoom Workplace for Clinicians will reduce documentation overhead for clinicians, allowing them to focus on patients.”
