IntelePeer's SmartOffice Solution Adopted by Boston's 42 North Dental

By

In medical practices, one of the most time-consuming tasks (especially when it comes to patient support) is the fielding of routine calls and contacts for appointments. But through the automation of many of these processes, personnel are relieved of a significant portion of rote work tasks, allowing them to focus on more complex patient support. Plus, providers can offer customers alternatives to the telephone for contacts with the practice, such as text messaging and alerts.

In this vein, AI-powered communications and automation solutions provider IntelePeer recently announced that it has partnered with 42 North Dental, a Boston-area dental service organization that supports 38 practice brands and more than one hundred locations. As part of the partnership, 42 North Dental will deploy IntelePeer’s generative artificial intelligence (GenAI)-based SmartOffice solution throughout its practices to automate processes and offer self-serve options for inbound and outbound customer calls.

The implementation of SmartOffice will allow 42 North Dental to alleviate employee workload, giving team members more time to focus on the in-office patient experience, reduce patient no-show rates, and optimize operatory occupancy. By integrating SmartOffice with its Practice Management System, 42 North Dental will also be able to fully manage the end-to-end patient lifecycle including pre-, intra-, and post-treatment. Patients will be able to interact with the dental practice on their preferred communications channel, use self-serve automation for faster resolution of their queries and receive and manage appointment reminders.

“At IntelePeer, we are committed to simplifying and automating our customers’ communications, enabling them to deliver personalized interactions through cutting-edge technology,” said Frank Fawzi, CEO at IntelePeer, in a statement. “By tapping into the power of AI, our SmartOffice solution allows healthcare organizations and dental practices to elevate patient-centric experiences, while reducing labor costs, and realizing a return on investment in a matter of weeks.”

42 North Dental noted that the SmartOffice implementation will complement its investment in clinical AI to engage patients on their preferred communications channels, delivering personalized conversations while improving operational efficiencies.
