Cisco and LTIMindtree Strengthen Partnership, Expand Secure Access Solutions for Customers Worldwide

By

Good Monday morning, readers! It’s nearly Thanksgiving, so let’s start it off by wishing everyone a safe and warm week ahead.

But before we reach the holiday, we’ve got some news to talk about. In this article, it involves Cisco and LTIMindtree.

At this point, Cisco is surely a household name when it comes to technology. This multinational corporation powers digital transformation for businesses of virtually all sizes; best known for its networking products, Cisco also develops IT and telecom equipment, cybersecurity-focused offerings, and plenty of other hardware and software. (Read here for my colleague Greg Tavarez’s latest story regarding Cisco.)

Then, LTIMindtree. On a mission to drive innovative excellence and empathy, this sustainability-minded tech consulting and digital solutions company brings extensive domain and technology expertise to the table. It currently supports 700+ clients in more than 30 countries. (Read here for LTIMindtree-related stories we’ve penned over on IoT Evolution World.)

And earlier this month, Cisco announced that LTIMindtree is officially leveraging Cisco Secure Access as its Security Service Edge (SSE) solution — also, to deliver integrated Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solutions based on Cisco technology to LTIMindtree's client base.

Why?

To enable next-gen hybrid work experiences for its employees and customers worldwide.

"With Cisco's zero trust approach and embedded AI, it was an easy decision to replace our long-standing SSE solution with Cisco Secure Access," explained Nachiket Deshpande, Chief Operating Officer, LTIMindtree. "We were able to quickly deploy the solution, and it now protects our hybrid workforce while delivering a better user experience and simplified IT management."

"Great workplaces require great security,” added Jeetu Patel, Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer at Cisco. “With AI-powered threats rising, we are combating sophisticated attackers across a more expansive landscape. Our customers need their security to operate in the background (and at machine scale to make the experience seamless and secure for hybrid workers), which is why LTIMindtree's rapid deployment of Secure Access is a great testament to Cisco's platform strategy and differentiation. Together with our partners, we are changing what user protection means for a modern workplace."
