Jabra Focuses on Frontline Workers with Newest Headset

By

Frontline workers play an important role in today’s businesses – they always have. In today’s tech-enabled environment, though, they can be empowered with tools to make their job easier and more productive, improving business performance and customer satisfaction.

Among the tools now available to the frontline workforce, is Jabra’s Perform 45 headset, the latest addition to the Jabra line. It is specifically aimed at helping frontline workers become better connected and, by extension, more effective in their roles.

The new Bluetooth mono headset has a sleek compact design and an easy Push to talk button, so workers can quickly connect with colleagues and make better, faster decisions on the job.

Not only does the new headset answer the need for strong communications solutions for front line workers but it also includes additional useful features. With external noise a very common factor – and impediment to effective communication – in frontline environments, the noise canceling microphone will improve audio clarity. Jabra says it removes 80% of background noise, making it ideal for frontline workers. A movable boom arm allows users to shift the microphone into a vertical position, disabling incoming communications to avoid disruptions during face-to-face interactions. Moving the mic away from the face also gives the appearance of more engaged in-person communication, making customers feel they are getting personal attention.

"We are reminded more than ever of the essential role of frontline workers across industries like healthcare, hospitality, warehouse and retail. They are the glue that binds the entire operation together, so we knew that our new line, Jabra Perform, needed products that can help frontline workers do their job better,” said Yves Dupuis, SVP at Jabra. “Our hope is for frontline workers to have everything they need within finger's reach with the Jabra Perform 45 headset, so they can assist their colleagues and customers and can remain in the zone no matter where they are.”

With a range of up to 300 feet, the Perform 45 provides ample flexibility of movement within frontline settings. It also is designed to last throughout a frontline worker’s shift, boasting up to eight hours of call time or up to 20 hours of PTT usage.

The new headsets are available for an MSRP of $149.

Jabra has been busy updating its line of headset offerings targeted at different users. It recently updated its Engage line of headsets with two new products to improve customer experiences and speech optimization. It also released a new product in its Connect series of headsets, the Jabra Connect 5t, which is aimed at ultimate comfort for the remote worker. It also added the Evolve2 Buds and Elite 5 true wireless earbuds – both designed for flexibility and comfort for hybrid and mobile workers.
