Scanbot SDK Intros New Document Scanner App Demo

By

Creating digital files from documents is more important than ever. Businesses work in and rely on digital channels more than ever for workforce productivity and communications, especially in today’s remote/hybrid environment where digital collaboration has become a standard.

To ensure businesses are able to digitize their documents, Scanbot SDK has created its Scanbot Document Scanner SDK, which brings enterprise-grade document scanning to any smartphone, tablet, or wearable device. Within two seconds, users are able to create hihg-quality digital scans of physical documents. Files are saved locally and can be exported as PDF, JPG, PNG, or TIFF files.

To help ensure all of the features it's included in the new app are sufficient, the company has released a demo version of the app in the Apple and Play store. This will also provide users with a chance to test out how easy and reliable the offering’s features are. One of the latest to be added is an enhanced intuitive interface to capture the best possible images, regardless of users’ imaging or photography experience.

"A big advantage of our solution is its intuitive interface, which we recently refined even further and are now presenting for the first time in the demo app,” explained Christoph Wagner, CEO at Scanbot SDK. “It allows even less tech-savvy users to capture flawless document scans on their first try."

Scanbot SDK works to help companies reduce spending on slow, error-prone manual data entry tasks. Its mobile data capture solutions are used by over 200 global enterprises. Users can create high-quality images of physical documents in seconds.

The application has been highly successful already in the insurance industry.  Powered by sophisticated ML and computer vision technology, it has reduced manual processing for insurers. With the demo app, the company is looking to bring the same level of efficiency to other industries.
