Cisco, NVIDIA Revolutionize Hybrid Workspaces with AI-Powered Meetings

By

In a move to push hybrid work even further into the future, Cisco has announced its latest partnership with NVIDIA to deliver AI-powered meetings. The Room Kit EQX and the expansion of Cinematic Meetings, both powered by NVIDIA's AI engine, are a move to elevate collaboration experiences by providing enhanced audio and video intelligence for hybrid meetings.

Room Kit EQX from Cisco takes hybrid meetings to the next level thanks to the inclusion of NVIDIA's AI technologies, making them more engaging and effective. The company has also expanded its Cinematic Meetings capabilities together with the NVIDIA's AI engine to provide a life-like experience in virtual meetings that blurs the lines between physical and remote participants.

The partnership also boasts an impressive 20x boost in AI capabilities to transform the way we conduct meetings in today’s era of hybrid work.

Most businesses today are looking to refresh their medium to large spaces where high-stakes meetings are taking place. Historically, the process of outfitting these areas with video capabilities has been intricate, demanding integrators to piece together various audio, video, and furniture components.

The Room Kit EQX provides a straightforward and consistent approach for customers to create cutting-edge meeting spaces across multiple locations. And since traditional in-person attendance at meetings is no longer the standard, Cisco's Cinematic Meetings capabilities utilize the advanced NVIDIA Jetson system-on-module to deliver collaborative experiences that result in a meeting environment where all participants, regardless of their physical location, experience a sense of togetherness.

"In order for people to want to come to the office, companies must fundamentally reimagine and reconfigure workspaces to provide seamless and immersive collaboration experience," said Jeetu Patel, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Cisco Security and Collaboration. "Our collaboration with NVIDIA helps make this possible as we expand our portfolio of AI-powered solutions that unlock the potential of hybrid workers."
