Microsoft-Certified Poly Devices Offer Improved Meeting Collaboration

By

Hybrid work setups are quickly becoming the norm for workers across the globe. With more employees connecting remotely and enjoying work from anywhere perks, the need for devices and solutions to collaborate and work efficiently is also on the rise.

Poly, a provider of pro-grade audio and video solutions, announced its expanded portfolio of Microsoft Teams certified solutions. These latest offerings take hybrid work to the next level and are designed to meet the needs of all types of work styles and meeting spaces.

The new device updates from Poly include additional Android capabilities with the Poly Video OS 4.0 software update (Nov. 2022). This includes the Poly Studio X30 & X50 video bars which have been re-certified for Microsoft Teams on Android 10 and the Poly G7500 video conferencing system.

For Windows devices, it's also offering Poly Studio Kits for Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows. This makes it easier for rooms of any size to deploy Poly DirectorAI technology right out-of-the-box. With artificial intelligence and machine learning, this technology offers real-time automatic transitions, speaker framing and tracking capabilities.

Also coming in 2023 are the Poly Lens remote management and insights tools to better manage, monitor, and maintain Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows.

"Because meetings happen anywhere and everywhere, Poly offers a wide variety and style of solutions for Microsoft Teams, so users can look and sound their best in every meeting," said Natalia Herrera, Senior Director of Alliances, Poly. "Our solutions enable Microsoft Teams customers to easily manage, monitor, and maintain every Poly device across their business, to include remote, hybrid, and on-site workers through a beautifully designed, equitable experience."

As part of the move to improve collaboration capabilities for hybrid workers, Poly has also announced an expanded portfolio of phones integrated with Teams. The Poly CCX 350 will be available later next month, as a wired or wireless solution with a durable dial pad that has Microban antimicrobial protection – for areas that are high-touch. Poly is also offering its Rove family of wireless DECT IP phones on the Microsoft Teams SIP Gateway for secure, wireless voice communications.
